Oh’ Blog Where Art Thou?
Just a note to say I’m still alive. And I still love blogging contrary to popular belief. Just having a little competition right now from some more important things in life. So…more to come. But for now here’s a quick update.
Went Bowling on Friday with Benjamin and had a great time. We had to bowl […]
I Love These People
J
Just a normal Friday out running errands with the family. Van was in the shop so we all took off in Daddy’s “Big Truck”. A good weekend all around. Love these little people! (Thats Benjamin, Grace then Liza in the back seat…and of course the beauty in the front seat…Leslie!)
I Will Help You
Here’s one of my absolute favorite Olympic stories. It’s Derek Redmond’s final run in the 400 m of the 1992 Olympics…along with his dad.
“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear; I will help you.” Isaiah 41:13
A Father and A Son
Most Fridays I spend the day catching up on other stuff in life…paying bills, running errands, playing with the kids while Leslie gets a break, working in the yard and such. But last Friday I had all three by myself all day. Leslie had to go to some technology training deal for her […]
Life Is Going On
Been away from the blog in the last week. Wanted to throw up a few pics to recap the latest. Here’s a pic from my laptop of my good friend Jim Pierce, the one whose 40th birthday we celebrated last weekend at the lake. I think we all survived the weekend together but […]
WILLIAM WALKER AGERTON
Hello blog friends….been a while. Just have been in a little “quiet season” this summer with writing here. Most of you know but my Dad passed away earlier this summer after his long battle with cancer. It has been a tough few months…great sorrow and great joy as I have missed my […]
Picture Update
OK…bear with me while I go into doting Dad mode. Here’s the latest:
Liza and Grace just turned 10 months old…I know, I can’t believe it. They are definately on the move now. Their favorite hang out spots are a) the surge protector for my computer b) behind either of the two toilets in our house […]
Post Hebrew Date turns into almost DUI
Yesterday I turned in my final project for the Hebrew intensive course I took this month. Since then I’ve been trying to catch up on life, spending time with Leslie and the kids. So tonight Leslie and I went out on a date…I mean babysitter and everything…first one in months. It was a nice dinner […]
PEE PEE IN DA POTTY!!!!!
The day has finally come…POTTY TRAINING! We…I mean Leslie, went cold turkey with Benjamin yesterday. She went to Wal Mart, bought 12 pairs of “big boy underware” and just went for it. He’s done pretty well so far. But it has involved a good bit of bribery: star stickers, candy corn, army men and dinasours. […]
The Stop of 2006…The Untold Story
I had a flashback tonight of something that happened to me a few weeks ago…I’ve had enough time to heal emotionally from the event, so now I can share it with some humor.
It all started on our way home from Auburn, AL a few weeks ago. Of course we were traveling with our 3 […]
