“Hi, it’s me…Josh.”

Here’s the scenario:  You have a really good life-long friend that you haven’t talked to in a long time.  You’ve somehow lost contact with them and it has become “too long” since you last connected.  You know the deal…when so much time passes that it somehow becomes  awkward to just pick up the phone and say “Hi” out of the blue.

Well, in a way that’s how I’m feeling about my blog right now.  Although joshagerton.com is not a life-long friend, it has been a long time.  So now I’m making that awkward entrance back in.

I love to write and tell stories that are worth being told.  I enjoy crafting words, pictures, stories and videos – some short, some long.  It’s my way of being a poet, or a musician, or an artist – without really being any these.

Whenever I have called those life-long friends where too much time has passed – we always accept each other back and in about 2 minutes as if we never missed a beat.  Expecting it will be the same here.

More to come…

Now Josh, where do you think the time was going to come from . . . you have been working the 25th hour on the 8th day of the week for more than just the past nine months.

Given a choice, it’s always better to recharge your battery with your loved ones in order to keep it in top operating condition.

So, be brief with the blog and long with your life and family.

    Cheers!
