How my appreciation has grown for those who have experienced "a little bit of life," as Leslie fondly says. Those that have faced temptations and have been refined to the image of Christ are more beautiful to me than ever now. And what a gift it is to know that through our temptations and trials, "He knows our name, He hears our every thought, He sees each tear that falls, and hears us when we call." I couldn’t agree more.
