When You’re Weary…

Wanted to share this as my prayer for you weary ones out there right now.  This is a short clip that I bet I watched over 100 times in the months after my own Dad’s leaving to be with the Lord.  It’s the great Art Garfunkle singing live from Central Park.  Behind Art’s words here I believe is the heart of Jesus Christ.  I hope you hear Him.

Remember the words of the prophet Isaiah…”For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’  (Isaiah 41:13).

    Loved it! Dad would love it too, especially if Neil Diamond or Jim Croce sang it. :) Makes me remember drama when we were young…you were Jesus, raised up with a broomstick to be the “bridge”…cool stuff back then…probably still cool if we did it again.
